my mate has asked me to make his bands myspace page look better(its white at the mo) i have a layout for his page but when i go into his edit profile..its different from normal myspace . could someone please tell me where i put the layout code?

Go to profile edit then paste on about me and save all changes.

Try and put it in the "About *Band Name Here* bit. It doesn't really matter where it goes though as I think it still works anyway. What's the link to the profile page, I might like the music.
